Welcome to Villa Rodi in the village of Katastari in Zakynthos (Zante), only 2km from the beach and the quaint resort of Alykes. At Villa Rodi’s two-floor apartment, you will enjoy the tranquility of a place with excellent views, far from the noise of the city or the extremely touristic places.
The two-floor apartment of the Villa is ideal for large groups of friends or big families as it offers the two top floors to accommodate up to 8 guests. The surroundings are perfect for large walks with green background and the house is fully equipped for a comfortable stay.
Villa Rodi’s main apartment can accommodate up to 8 guests in 3 bedrooms and it is split in two floors, over an area of 150 sq.m. The bottom floor of the property is in use by its two owners. The upper apartment, which is the one you are renting, has its own entrance and staircase, its own terrace, and its own access to the garden. The house offers a total of 3 double beds, 1 single bed, and 2 rollaway beds. The house has beautiful views of the sea and mountain.
The main floor (first floor) consists of the living room, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen, as well as one bedroom with queen sized bed and one bathroom with shower. This floor is accessible by the outdoor stairs. The dining room is spacious and has a round table for 8 people. Its entire eastern side is covered by a huge window overlooking the hills, the lush olive groves and the sea, which is located 1,800 m from the house. This window is one of the main features of the house.The kitchen is very large, equipped for all your holiday needs and has an island in the middle.The living room accommodates comfortable sofas for 8 people. Sitting at the bay window overlooking the garden you feel you are outside. You can also enjoy your meals on the furnished terrace on the first floor with beautiful sea and mountain views. This terrace is 22 sq.m. and has a dining table with chairs for 8 people.
The second floor has two very spacious bedrooms, one with a double bed, to which a rollaway bed can be added. This room has an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a double bed and a single bed, while right next door there is another bathroom with a shower. All three bedrooms on both floors have their own spacious balconies.
The house is surrounded on three sides by a garden, and on the fourth side is the entrance. In the garden, you can find herbs such as oregano, mint, basil, mint, and thyme as well as eggs from the henhouse. In the garden, there are four tables where you can enjoy your tea and coffee. We have chickens, dogs, and cats on the property and there are various fruit trees and herb plants.
In the centre of the village, 300 meters from the house, you will find a supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, flower shop, and cafe. Also in the village, there is a post office, a car repair shop, a tire repairer, a car wash, a hairdresser, a pastry shop, a bookstore, and a hardware store. The gas/ petrol station is located just below the house, at 150 meters distance.

Villa Rodi is located in the village of Katastari, one of the biggest of the island, very close to Alykes resort where you have many shops, restaurants and taverns and a beautiful beach. It takes less than 5 minutes by car to get to any mini market or tavern. Also, Katastari is close to the north of the island and you can easily visit interesting places like the shipwreck or Volimes. From your veranda you can view both sea and mountain landscapes and the area is quiet and safe, adequate for large walks.
